Who should attend:

Anyone currently using Shelterly and those interested in learning more. Priority registration will be given to new users and those gaining familiarity with Shelterly.

 

How it Works:

Today: Register for the Virtual Quick Start Exercise

 

Monday, June 8: We’ll email you prework to do within a Shelterly incident prior to the live virtual exercise.

 

Prework is not required to attend the exercise.

Prework can be used as homework after the exercise is over as practice.

 

Monday, June 15 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm (PT):

Join the Virtual Quick Start Exercise as we demonstrate the prework step-by-step and review best practices and tips.

 

We’ll be using our meeting chat and a Shelterly team member will provide answers to questions.

 

We’ll be starting from the basics, working through each step at a slower pace throughout the exercise.

 

Prework:

For users familiar with Shelterly, our prework includes an individual Shelterly Incident Link, hotline calls to enter, debrief practice, and shelter intake from walk-ins and field assignments. Prework should take less than one hour to complete.

 

Homework:

If you’re not that familiar with Shelterly and not quite ready for prework - no problem!

Feel free to register for the Quick Start Exercise and join us on Monday, June 15 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm (PT) for the live demonstration.

 

Then, use the prework we sent to you as homework to practice with for the next 7 days.

Additionally, thanks to feedback received, we'll send out additional, more in-depth, injects so those who have completed the prework/homework can take more advanced steps using Shelterly.

 

We’ll also provide direct links to the Shelterly Quick Start step-by-step training guides and module training videos for support.

 

 

This training exercise is now eligible for a Shelterly Certificate. Upon completion of three Quick Start Exercises (including verification that all work in the exercise has been completed), participants will receive a Shelterly Certificate of Completion.
